Holiday at Home

Yesterday afternoon my boyfriend and I arrived home from our few days holiday in Margaret River, and now I'm having the pleasure of a little holiday at home before returning to work next week.

I had been anticipating going out and exploring Perth's retail offerings, so today I spent the afternoon walking up and down William Street and around the CBD.  In particular, I was looking forward to visiting the new vintage stores that have recently popped up at One40 William.  Unfortunately I didn't make any purchases as nothing really stood out to me - perhaps my vision was clouded by the abundance of school-holidaying teens hunting for more terrible underwear sized denim shorts?  

It's really great to see more of these type of pop-up stores opening throughout the Perth and Northbridge area, but nothing beats venturing off into suburban op-shops and digging around at markets for new treasures!  Speaking of which, will you be attending this Sunday's Go Go Retro Vintage and Vinyl Roadshow or the Polka Dot Vintage Market on the 28th and 29th April?  I know I will be.
