So this weekend just gone in Perth was rather warm and sunshiny. On Saturday my boyfriend and I went out for a delicious brunch with his Mum, did some shopping and managed to swing past Hyde Park for some photos before he headed off on a boys' night.
Almost two weeks ago I got my hair chopped off, and boy am I loving it. I've never had my hair this short! It's very refreshing, although everyone is saying that it makes me look much younger. In a little sailor girl dress like this one, it's not hard to see why...
Vintage Dress - Winifred & Bance
Belt - Forever New
Bag - Thrifted
Shoes - Olive
As lovely as the weather was over the weekend, I just can't help feeling glum with recollections of how horrible last summer was to me. I can't handle heat at all these days. I've not been well for over 18 months now, and being hot makes me feel 100 times worse. Eeek. This week I'm starting on a detox and sending off more tests in a mad rush effort to get better before the summer heat hits... wish me luck. There are so many exciting things coming up and I really don't want my body to continue holding me back!
xx

I love your dress!

Thanks it's one of my favorites! Xx
DeleteVery cute cut and dress. We have just about the same length hair now - except i'm going the other way - from short to long. All lengths are equally fantastic I say.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better soon.

It is a really good length, at least if you're growing yours out you won't need to be constantly trimming it to keep it shorter :) xx
DeleteWhoops, forgot to mention that I love the shape of your photos too. Reminds me of my grandparents photos.

Thanks lovely, I have been enjoying your blog too :) xx
DeleteYour new haircut is gorgeous! Such a cute, fun style and it suits you so well.
ReplyDeleteI'm not looking forward to summer either, I hate that most of my makeup has usually melted off by lunchtime and sweating in the humidity and not being able to sleep at night :(
Thanks yeah I think the style is a lot more fun!
DeleteFinally someone else who dislikes summer... The makeup melting thing drives me crazy too, have you tried any of the Skindinavia setting sprays? I started using the Bridal one last summer and it worked a treat :) xx
